Sonny Bill Williams has been given another medal - to replace the one he gave away to a young fan slam-dunked by a security staff when he tried to run onto the pitch after yesterday's final.
World Rugby has presented Williams with a replacement at the World Rugby Awards which are currently underway in London.
The All Black said he felt sorry for the boy, who was tackled by a security guard after charging the field.
Former Wallabies fullback Matthew Burke told Tony Veitch he had nothing but praise for the New Zealand player.
"Sometimes the shy guys, the quiet guys, are perhaps perceived as maybe sort of arrogant, a bit up themselves. But what we can see from this guy, he's incredibly genuine."
Thankyou @rugbyworldcup for the gift tonight. pic.twitter.com/UBU6GTG0Vk
