The pop-up salon in Wellington has helped people engage in political discussion ahead of the election - by offering free haircuts.
Over the past week punters have come in to get a cut, in exchange for sharing their political views.
Thomas La Hood, the man behind the salon, has been pleased about how forthcoming people have been, and how confident they've been sharing the issues that matter to them.
He says from a menu of political haircuts on offer - Peter Dunne's trademark quiff was the most popular.
