The letter 'a' on Rotorua's floating wetland has finally been repaired after it was badly damaged last year.
The wetland, which floats in the lake just off Sulphur Point and spells the word Rotorua, was collapsing at the far end.
It's not known what caused the damage, but it's suspected a boat deliberately rammed into it.
Rotorua District Council Water Solutions Director Andrew Bell says the parts were flown in from America and towed out on the lake.
He says it's been replanted and is back to the shape it should be.
