A Catholic priest charged with indecent assault will appear in the Blenheim District Court today.
Father Aidan Kay was a priest at St Mary's Catholic Parish in Blenheim but has been removed from the ministry since the complaint.
The 71-year-old's charged with indecently assaulting a male over 17.
