A body has been found in the Christchurch red zone. 

Police said the death is unexplained and is under investigation. 

“Emergency services were called to Dunair Drive just after 6pm,” said a spokesperson. 

“Cordons are in place on Dunair Drive between Brooker Ave and New Brighton Road. 

“Members of the public can expect to see a police presence as the scene is investigated.”
