One dead, four injured in Hawkes Bay crash

Hawkes Bay Police are at a fatal crash involving two vehicles at Waipawa tonight.

State Highway 2 at Waipawa is closed while police investigate the cause of the crash which happened at about 7:30pm.

One person is confirmed dead and four others have minor injuries.

This brings the holiday weekend road death toll to 10. The official road death toll ends at 6am tomorrow.
