Despite being founded in 1854, New Zealand's parliament has struggled to be recognised by Facebook.
A newly set-up parliamentary page was taken down about a week ago over questions of authenticity, after falling prey to the social media network's automated systems for rooting out fake sites.
But the page's administrators say it's now back and running.
A spokesman for the Office of the Clerk, which manages the page, said Facebook's systems had trouble verifying the account was legitimate and as a result flagged it as possibly fake.
The page has only been posting since June and has about 600 followers.
The take-down isn't the first slight New Zealand has endured on the social network, with a nearly 130,000 people following a "Does New Zealand exist?" page since 2012.
