South Island-based iwi, Ngai Tahu, has this morning re-elected Sir Mark Solomon for the three-year role of kaiwhakahaere.
Sir Mark was the only nominated candidate for the role of chairman, a position he has served since 1998.
Lisa Tumahai was elected deputy.
