Police in Napier are responding to an incident on Nuffield Avenue, Marewa, where one person was allegedly seen with a firearm.
Police were called to the incident about 2.30pm. A spokesperson urged the public to avoid the area.
“Cordons are in place, and anyone in the area should follow any directions from emergency services.”
