Police investigating alleged cordon breaches want help to identify three people

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify three people after a breach of the Mauao landslide cordon.

Police have released images of the people they would like to speak with.

“We believe they may be able to assist us with our inquiries into a breach of the Mount Maunganui landslide cordon on Wednesday, February 11, and Sunday, February 15,” a police spokesperson said.

“If you are one of these people, or you recognise them, please update us through 105 either online or over the phone.

“Please use reference number 260217/6366.”

Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
