Police have charged a man after a person was knocked unconscious outside a popular Arrowtown bar last month.
The alleged assault happened outside the Fork and Tap on Sunday, December 21, 2025.
The victim suffered facial injuries serious enough to require hospital treatment that night.

Police had earlier described the incident as not part of a mutual fight.
In the weeks following the incident, police made repeated public appeals for help identifying a man they believed could assist their inquiries.
Officers said the man was thought to have been part of a wedding party held at the Arrowtown Bowls Club earlier that day.
A 27-year-old man is now due to appear in the Invercargill District Court on January 27, charged with injuring with intent to injure.
