Seatbelts are believed to be the reason behind a lucky escape for those on a bus which rolled near Levin this morning.
Emergency services were called to the crash on State Highway One around 10 this morning.
Fortunately none of the16 on board were injured.
A police spokesman says the road was kept open as the bus was off the to the side.
