Rugby fans are being warned to get in quick, if they're keen to get a spot at the ITM Cup final in New Plymouth tomorrow.

Nearly 18,000 of the 21,000 tickets to the Taranaki-Tasman game have sold.

Taranaki Rugby Football Union commercial manager, Geoff Hitchcock, says the last time Yarrow Stadium sold out was for an All Blacks test match.

He says the region's humming, as shop windows are decorated and a number of people have worn amber and black to work.
