A controversial campervan hire company will be erased from the next Australia and New Zealand editions of the Lonely Planet Travel guide.
Wicked Campers has been heavily criticised over the offensive slogans printed on their vans , including one that reminded a mother of the violent drowning of her daughter.
Women's refuge is calling for a boycott and asked the Lonely Planet Travel Guide to remove them from their books.
Refuge Chief Executive , Ang Jury says Lonley Planet is more than happy to oblige.
"We had a letter back from them saying, 'Yep, consider it done'.
"They just said 'we agree'. They've already removed Wicked Campers from their Australian directory, so they'll be coming off for New Zealand as well."
