Lime is upping its lobbying tactics in a bid to get its scooters zooming around the capital.

The company's Wellington region operations manager has emailed city councillors requesting one on one meetings.

This ahead of a report looking at the implication of e-scooters in the capital being released this afternoon.

It will be tabled before councillors this month.

In the email, Sam Seiniger says he wants to hear councillors' perspectives on how Lime can best integrate into Wellington's transportation ecosystem.

He says he wants to answer any questions they may have about Lime's operation model, technical abilities, values and vision.

He says he will even bring along one of the scooters for a demo if they haven't tried one out yet.

The report is being released this afternoon.
