Multiple people have been handcuffed in central Auckland after a major police chase through the CBD.
Police blocked a section of Karangahape Road by the Howe St intersection at 4.30pm after at least 15 police cars were seen chasing a white vehicle.
A man with blood on his face was seen being handcuffed and placed into the back of a police car.
Others have been seen being hauled away by police.
Police have been approached for comment.

Hato Hone St John spokesperson said one ambulance, one rapid response unit, and one operations manager attended a motor vehicle incident on Karangahape Road / Hereford Street.
They said one patient in moderate condition was transported to hospital.
Three additional patients, all in minor condition, were assessed at the scene.
Earlier, a witness told the Herald cars were spotted with lights and sirens speeding north, past Sylvia Park, just before 4pm.
The Herald understands the cars were headed towards downtown Auckland.
A reporter on the scene in central Auckland said a chopper was hovering above the Victoria Park area.
A witness said there was a figure “protruding” out of a vehicle.
Police were also seen around the Auckland University of Technology and outside a car dealership on Karangahape Rd.
A Herald photographer said it appeared a police officer was laying spikes at the entrance to the top of Hobson St at the entrances to the Southern and Northwestern Motorways.
