It's not even lunchtime on Christmas day and already some unwanted presents are appearing on Trade Me.

Within minutes of unwrapping Christmas gifts, hundreds of New Zealanders have been online to sell those things they're not keen on.

Trade Me has already created a special category for re-gifting and more than 300 ads have already been posted.

Some of the presents judged to be duds include a pillow shaped like a slice of watermelon, a koala brooch and a feet detoxing kit.
