The second phase of Jetstar’s regional flights is rolled out today.
In August last year the airline announced it would be flying to Nelson, Napier, New Plymouth and Palmerston North.
The Nelson - Auckland and Napier - Auckland flights began in December.
Today marks the first day New Plymouth and Palmerston North will host flights to and from Auckland.
The Nelson – Wellington route also makes its debut.
Spokesman Phil Boeyen said things have been well established after starting flights from Napier and Nelson.
"We've now got two months experience flying to the other regions so a lot of the process are in place at Auckland airport."
Mr Boeyen said passengers are excited.
"When services are running that’s when they start booking in droves”
