Demand for stickers warning off door-to-door sales people has been so strong, they're being re-printed.
Nearly all of Consumer New Zealand's 100,000 'Do Not Knock' stickers have already been distributed.
The campaign came in response to complaints about hard-sell and exploitative tactics.
Consumer New Zealand chief Sue Chetwin says even more complaints are being made now, including cases of elderly people being pressured to buy products like vacuum cleaners.
"Very heavy, very expensive, they can't afford them and impossible to use and quite a lot of heavy pressure for them to actually buy them."
Consumer New Zealand says 70 percent of its members dislike door-to-door salespeople, and don't want them calling.
Ms Chetwin isn't surprised at the hot demand.
"We thought that it would be popular, that people did want to stop unwanted sales people knocking on their doors."
Anyone who wants a sticker can get one at a Citizens Advice Bureau or Resene Colourshop, or by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to Consumer New Zealand.
