Police have swarmed the Hell’s Angels’ Auckland headquarters today after a vehicle failed to stop in the city centre.
A police spokesperson said proactive patrols were taking place around Auckland city when a vehicle failed to pull over after being signalled to do so at about 9.30am on Anzac Ave.
“[Police] units did not pursue, with camera operators locating the vehicle abandoned on Edenvale Park Road a short time later,” the spokesperson said.
Police “delta” dog patrol units were able to track the occupants of the vehicle to an address on Brentwood Rd in Mt Eden, resulting in an operation at the Hell’s Angels compound.
A heavy police presence could be seen around the property, with several marked and unmarked patrol cars in the area and the Police Eagle helicopter flying overhead.

A witness said three people were pulled out of the property, with one put in a police car.
The helicopter was there for about an hour, they added, but has since left.
Police dogs could be seen coming in and out of the house and a neighbouring property.
One woman who was taken out of the house was seen being spoken to by police away from the property, while another male removed could be seen speaking to officers outside.

The pair have since been allowed to return inside.
The police presence stretched along most of Brentwood Ave and Horopito St.
Police at the scene told the Herald there is still an ongoing investigation, while a spokesperson said enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the driver and the circumstances around what has occurred.
