Four people have now died after a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 1 near Redwood Pass in Marlborough last month.
Police confirmed today that a fourth person has now died from injuries sustained in the crash last month.
The third person to die has been identified as Belgian national Victoria Docx.
Emergency services were called to the crash about 10.40am on Sunday, February 22.

Two people died at the scene and three others were taken to hospital with serious and critical injuries.
One of those later died in hospital.

Docx had been working in IOM’s regional office for the European Economic Area, the European Union and Nato since 2023, based in Belgium, according to her LinkedIn profile.
She had previously worked in project roles with the agency’s Belgium and Luxembourg office.

According to social media posts, Docx had been travelling in New Zealand with a friend and was due to be in the country from February 21 to March 15.
One person remains in a serious condition in hospital.
The crash was near Redwood Pass, north of Blenheim.
Two people were airlifted to Wellington Hospital, while a third was taken to Christchurch Hospital.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
