Foodstuffs is promising to do right by two workers whose wages were docked at one of its stores.
The employees of Pak'n'Save Whakatane were told to pay $700 to cover a theft.
Foodstuff North Island's Murray Jordan told Mike Hosking it wasn't acceptable, and won't happen again.
"It's an isolated case, but it needs to be stamped on. We need to restore confidence," he says.
Wage-docking has also been revealed at petrol station chain Gull.
