The New Zealand woman killed by a crocodile at a Queensland beach last month has been farewelled at a service in Tauranga this afternoon.
46-year-old Cindy Waldron was dragged underwater at Thornton Beach during a late night dip in the ocean at Daintree National Park two weeks ago.
Ms Waldron was originally from New Zealand, where her family still resides.
She had been living in the Australia for two decades, and was based in Lithgow in New South Wales’ Blue Mountains.
A service to remember Ms Waldron’s life was held at Tauranga Park.
