Tasman police are investigating a messy liquor store theft in Motueka over the weekend.
Around four on Sunday morning a stolen van reversed through the main doors of the High Street Liquorland and made off with alcohol.
The van was found crashed a short time later.
Police are reviewing security footage of the incident.
