The doors to a Christchurch church are being flung open today to show off its rebuild and restoration.
The Knox Presbyterian Church was badly damaged in the quakes but now, after a massive fundraising drive it's been repaired as an amalgamation of the old with the new.
Fundraising chairwoman Liz Baxendine says they are having an open afternoon due to public interest.
She says everyone is very welcome.
The church still needs to raise nearly $600,000 dollars to finish the work completely.
