Representatives of ChristChurch Cathedral will be back in court this morning seeking clarification of the way it spent insurance money.
While today's hearing will have no impact on the state of the cathedral itself, the Church Property Trustees want to determine whether they've done anything wrong.
The church has previously been criticised for spending the money on the Transitional Cathedral, rather than a new church on the Cathedral Square site.
But now that money has been paid back to the trust, CPT's lawyer Jeremy Johnson says they'll be asking the court whether it's still an issue.
The Great Christchurch Buildings Trust and Attorney-General will both make submissions to the court.
