A Christchurch restaurant is replacing its takeaway bags after receiving a complaint that they were offensive.
For four years, Pot Sticker Dumpling Bar has used bags with the words "Dump Rings" on them.
Owner Jason Dodd has had the business for 10 months and says he has only had one complaint, which was in April.
"When I got the complaint I asked my Chinese kitchen staff if they had any issues, and they said absolutely not. They actually thought it was rather amusing."
Jason Dodd cancelled an order for more of the bags months ago and has been using up the old stock until the new bags arrive.
