The game of legal ping-pong continues between Chris Cairns and Lalit Modi.
Modi has started proceedings to claw back 4.9-million dollars in damages and costs.
Britain's The Telegraph reports he's applied to the High Court in London to have the 2012 libel case won by Cairns set aside, on the grounds of fraud.
In that case, it was found Modi libellously claimed Cairns had been involved in corruption while playing in the Indian Cricket League.
However this year, Chris Cairns has been arrested and charged with perjury in relation to evidence given at the libel trial.
Cairns denies the allegations.
