Updated 9.50am: The Wellington hospitality industry is bracing for a bigger night for bars, than for an All Blacks test.
It's all about the sold out Cricket World Cup match between the Black Caps and England.
New Zealand Hospitality's Jeremy Smith says with the Barmy Army in town supporting the English, tonight will be a big night for the city's bars.
"It's definitely going to be massive. I think it will be bigger than an All Blacks match."
Jeremy Smith says it was a coup to get two England games in Wellington, as it means the Barmy Army will spend more time in the capital's Hotels and Bars.
"Based on the accommodation and bookings it looks like most people will be back by thursday, so we're looking forward to two very good weekends in town."
