A truck crash on Auckland’s Northern Motorway has closed multiple lanes, which is causing significant traffic congestion. 

Police advised motorists to expect delays after the crash near Ōrewa. 

The crash happened near the Millwater off-ramp. 

Police said the incident was reported just after 11.30 am. 

One lane remains closed in each direction near the Ōrewa off-ramp due to a crash. 

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi said the median barrier was damaged in the incident, and the lanes could not be reopened until the barrier was made safe. 

“There are no reports of injury,” police said. “However, the crash is causing significant congestion for both northbound and southbound lanes.” 

Motorists are advised to expect delays or seek an alternative route.
