Avid All Blacks fans can get even more up close and personal with the game with the launch of an new app.
The new app, Stadium Live, will allow the user to view plays directly from their smart phones, rather than the big screen.
Fans in the stand can switch between eight different camera angles, replay highlights as well as view the previous 30 seconds of footage from any camera angle.
The app will have its first test run at the All Blacks first test against the British and Irish Lions on Saturday night at Eden Park.
"We're excited that rugby is the first sport to introduce this technology in New Zealand," NZ rugby chief commercial officer Nick Brown says.
It's not the first technology of its kind worldwide, however.
Paris Saint-Germain soccer fans have had an app of the same concept available for around a year, while Cisco StadiumVision was launched in the US in 2015.
Stadiums worldwide like Allianz in Sydney, Metricon in the Gold Coast and the Levi's Stadium in California offer their own personalised apps too for different sports.
