A New Plymouth man has been ordered to pay $7000 to his neighbour, after setting up security cameras which peeked over the fence.
Bradley Naughton installed the cameras hoping to catch a person who'd been throwing mud onto washing.
Tyres had also been slashed on cars belonging to people staying at his bed and breakfast.
The row ended up with the Privacy Commissioner, a final ruling has now been made by the Human Rights Commission.
