
A 13-year-old boy has gone missing while swimming at the Hunua Falls south of Auckland.
Police say they suspect he has drowned.
St John Ambulance was called to the scene at three o'clock this afternoon after he got into difficulty while swimming and did not resurface..
A spokeswoman said a family member at the Falls alerted emergency services.
She said St John was stood down by police at four o'clock.
The Falls are now closed, although the carpark remains open.
The police National Dive Squad has been called in to help with a search.
This latest incident follows the drowning of 17 year old Peter Lemalu at the same place less than two weeks ago
