Invercargill police are concerned about a man who's been missing since Friday.

30-year-old Michael Francis was last seen around midday last Friday - and hasn't contacted family or friends since.

He's described as medium build, with short black hair and olive skin and drives a red Mazda hatchback.

Police say his disappearance is uncharacteristic and urge anyone who's seen Michael Francis to contact them.
