
A teenager in the US state of Connecticut is fighting for the right to refuse chemotherapy to treat her cancer.
Cassandra Fortin is now in the care of the state's Department of Children and Families after it won temporary custody of the 17-year-old.
She and her mother claim the state can't compel her to undergo treatment and the case is going to Connecticut's supreme court for a ruling.
