International researchers have found even more conclusive evidence that vaccines are not linked to autism in children.
It's hoped to convince parents of autism-affected children that the Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccine isn't linked to the condition - many have been wary of vaccinating other children.
The latest study of almost 100,000 children was led by Dr Anjali Jain.
She told Newstalk ZB's Mike Hosking the lack of knowledge about autism fuels the fear of the MMR vaccine.
"We don't understand what causes autism spectrum disorder, so I think in the face of all of that uncertainty, people are looking for a particular cause."
