Search and Rescue teams are being mobilised this morning in the hunt for a 60-year-old missing from North Shore Hospital.

Patricia Hogarth, a mental health patient, was last seen yesterday afternoon wearing hospital pyjamas and carrying a hospital blanket.

She's described as a chronic schizophrenic but is not a risk to others.

Ms Hogarth's Caucasian, slim, and has grey hair.

Police have been out looking for her since yesterday, concentrating on Takapuna and the Britomart area.
