Hamilton's new Tudor Garden is the first of its kind in New Zealand, and one of a few in the world.
The garden will be officially opened in Hamilton Gardens on Thursday.
Hamilton Gardens director Peter Sergel says it's been three years in the making.
"There's no surviving Tudor Garden. There hasn't been much reconstruction in England so it's pretty unique."
The garden is the 13th in a series of themed gardens.
Sergel says it's a replica of historic English Tudor gardens.
"And It's main feature is a knot garden in the centre of the garden and various architectural features around the outside edge including an Elizabethan wall and a pavillion."
