A man prompted a huge emergency services response yesterday when he wedged himself in a precarious position underneath the Bridge Street Bridge.
Hamilton City Council transport unit manager, Phil Considine says they're working closely with police to come up with a practical solution to stop this happening again.
"Well there will be barriers of some sort. Clearly with the bridge arch that the person climbed up, there was no significant barrier for that because it's never been a risk."
