Another message to drivers to stay focused on the road and not their cell phones.

Over the past two days there's been two crashes in the Waikato as a result of the driver texting.

On Monday afternoon a mother was driving along Holland road in Hamilton, before her car crashed into a ditch and flipped.

Her child was in the back of the car, and both escaped with no injuries.

However, the mother admitted to police that she had been reading a text.

And yesterday another driver crashed into a stationary vehicle on State Highway 1 near Hautapu road, also a result from texting while driving.

The driver was taken to Waikato Hospital with minor injuries.
