TOTO, the legendary band behind some of the world's most iconic songs is coming to New Zealand early next year.
The tour will be the first of a brand new annual summer concert series called A Summer's Day Live, which will feature major international artists from the past four decades.
This Summer's Day already has TOTO on the lineup, as well as Kiwi favourite Dragon in support. One of New Zealand's most popular live acts, Dragon is responsible for hits like April Sun in Cuba, Are You Old Enough, Rain and Still In Love With You.
One more star headliner is yet to be announced.
The concert series will see TOTO play shows in Mount Maunganui, Napier, New Plymouth and Christchurch in January 2019.
The group has been together since the 70s and have released a massive 17 albums, so they're coming armed with arsenal of hits such as Rosanna, Hold The Line and of course, their smash anthem Africa.
Promoter Toby Burrows says Neptune Entertainment is excited to have secured such an iconic band to launch the 'A Summer's Day Live' series:
"We have been wanting to bring TOTO to NZ for some time, and being able to place them in amazing outdoor venues in the heart of summer is the perfect fit".
Tickets go on sale Monday, August 13 at 9.00am and dates and venues are below. See Neptune Entertainment for details.
