British singer-songwriter Lynsey de Paul has died.

She was the force behind several top ten hits in thn1970s including the song Sugar Me in 1972.

She composed themes for several top tv series.

She and her then road manager Sharon Osbourne had a famous spat, resulting in Osbourne urinating in de Paul's suitcase after de Paul had ticked Sharon off for being drunk.

Lynsey de Paul died of a brain haemorrhage.

She was 64.
