One of the country's most acclaimed composers is to be inducted into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame.
Douglas Lilburn, who penned such tunes as 'Aotearoa Overture' and the Piano Sonatas, has been announced as this year's inductee.
Lilburn died in 2001 as a Member of the Order of New Zealand.
He'll be inducted posthumously at this year's Silver Scroll Awards in Wellington, at the end of the month.
