Police are investigating a house fire in Te Anau believed to be suspicious.
A Fire Service spokeswoman says two crews of firefighters from Te Anau Station were called to a house fire in Howden Street about 4.30 this morning.
When the crews arrived the blaze in the single-storey house was well involved, but no one was inside.
