A person is trapped in a car which crashed into a bank near Port Waikato this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Tuakau Bridge-Port Waikato Rd at 2.26pm, a Fire Service spokeswoman said.
Firefighters were attempting to free one person from the wreckage.
Their status was not known at this stage.
