A large scrub fire threatening homes in Rolleston has been brought under control.
A helicopter has been assisting around10 tankers and five fire engines and fire-fighters say all property has been saved.
A one kilometre area around the fire was evacuated but the cordon has since been lifted and residents allowed back into their houses.
