Fire crews in Geraldine are at the scene of a fire at a motel.

One motel unit is fully involved, and a second unit had caught after flames travelled through the roof.

Four appliances have now arrived at the scene, with crews still battling the blaze which was reported shortly before 8pm.

A fire investigator has been sent to find out the fire's caused.

There's no word yet on whether or not anyone was in either of the two units on fire.
