Emergency crews are at a large house fire in Castor Bay, in Auckland's east coast bays, tonight.

Firefighters were called just after 7.30pm.

Northern fire communications spokesman Jaron Phillips said four trucks were sent to the derelict house, and no injuries have been reported.

Phillips said the house was “well involved’’ in flames, and firefighters were working to save a neighbouring property that was under threat.
