Three fire crews are battling a house fire in North Canterbury.
Fire and Emergency were called to the blaze in St Leonards Rd, Culverden, about 11:20 this morning.
The fire appears to have started in the chimney and is now in the roof and crews are removing roofing iron to get to it.
St John spokesperson says they treating one patient with smoke inhalation.
