Staff and students will use temporary classrooms tomorrow, when they return to an Auckland school hit by fire.

The technical block at Northcote College was badly damaged in the blaze just over two weeks ago.

The Education Ministry has arranged temporary classrooms which it's confident will be ready to use tomorrow.

The damaged building itself has been largely demolished.

The Ministry has praised the way the school has handled such a potentially traumatic incident.
